What a weekend!
Despite the horrible weather, and long journey, Capella made it to Atlanta and had a great time!
Congratulations to the members for a job well done! I could not be any more proud of you all. I am looking forward to SCGC Championships and Worlds.
Some of the highlights of the weekend, for me, were:
Harrison HS - What an adorable show. The girls were dressed as tubes of paint and the floor was an artist's pallet. They had a huge paint can on the corner of the floor and a soloist, dressed as the artist. Well done!
Phantom Regiment - It was great to see Adam Sage and our friends from Regiment. Their show has changed quite a bit since we saw them in Nashville. Gorgeous new flags and butterfly wings. Beautiful. Loved it!!
The best part of the weekend was spending it with my gang. You guys are the best. I had so many people stop me and tell me how gorgeous your show is, and what a great job you did. You should be extremely proud of all that you have accomplished. You are a class act.
Get some rest...we are in the home stretch.
