What is in a name? Usually, a horrid middle name, given by your parents to honor one of your relatives. I, however, lucked out with the most common middle name ever, Ann.
My namesake, Emily Ann Anderson, and I have more than just our first and second names in common. My grandfather, Winfield Wagner, was adopted by the Wagners. His real name was Anderson. We could be distantly related! After all, my grandfather's nickname was "Tennessee".
So, in honor of Middle Name Pride Day, wear the name your momma gave ya, with pride, all you Hortenses, Sybils, and Waloolahs.

O Eloise
I lucked out with a decent middle name, Elizabeth Nicole. Although I was going to be a Sara Elizabeth after my Nana. To bad ...Abe and I could've had the same initials.
Haha, I have always thought it was funny that you and I have such similar names. That is crazy about how we could be related! I never knew all that about your grandad. I don't know if this would connect anything or if it matters but I do know that my dad's side of the family (the Andersons) were Methodist. Which is what I believe your growing up family was. Even if that doesn't connect anything, there is another similarity!
Yes, I was raised Methodist. See...there has to be a connection there somewhere. My Grandfather was born in Johnson City, Tennessee but as a young child, was sent to Ohio to live with the Wagners. He has been gone a very long time, since I was young, so I did not know much about him. My father left home when he turned 18 and does not speak of his childhood much. I will have to ask him more about it.
